Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt are not in director Shakun Batra’s next. The actors, who were a part of Batra’s previous Kapoor & Sons, were rumoured to be a part of the director’s upcoming film as well.
Putting a rest to the rumours, Batra told DC:
“No, it’s not true at all; it’s mere gossip. I’m currently writing my next script, and it would be unfair to me to talk about anyone’s attachment to the project before the script is complete and shared with the actor officially.”
The new script, if it does materialise, will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Batra’s earlier Ekk Main Aur Ekk Tu, Kapoor And Sons were also bankrolled by Johar.
