Talking about it, Nivetha said at a pre-release event, “I was in the final year of architecture and had to submit my thesis. So, there was a lot of work on the academic side. While I could not do a film, I spent some time listening to scripts.”

She is said to have lesser screen time in 118. Comparing the film her other projects like Ninnu Kori and Gentleman in which she played the lead, she said, “I would always like to take up content-based scripts and not worry about the length of the role as long as I have something substantial to do. Although my character is small in 118, it will have an everlasting impact.”

“It did not matter as long as I could do justice to my role,” she added.

She said, “Director KV Guhan has come up with a good film that also happens to have strong characters and a fascinating storyline.”

“I can’t reveal much about my character in the movie right now. The film’s plot line revolves around what happens to this girl and something she does, turns the entire story,” she was quoted in an interview with The Indian Express.

On the work front, she will next be seen in Brochevarevarura and Swaasa which are currently in production stage. Talking about her upcoming film Brochevarevarura, she said, “The film is a dark comedy flick, something which I haven’t done before. My character in the movie is a difficult and different one. The beauty of Brochevarevarura is that it’s a very real and relatable film.”
