Nayanthara Joins The Sets Of ‘SK 13’

Velaikkaran Movie Stills Starring Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara

Nayanthara has started shooting for Sivakarthikeyan’s film, tentatively titled SK 13. The film is directed by Rajesh, with whom Nayanthara had worked in Boss Engira Bhaskaran. Studio Green are the producers.

While Nayanthara and Sivakarthikeyan have shared screen space in Velaikkaran, this is the first time that Sivakarthikeyan will be teaming up with Rajesh. Nayanthara joined the team on Tuesday, and Studio Green productions took to Twitter to share the news.

The film went on floors in May this year and Sivakarthikeyan announced the launch of the project on Twitter: “It’s official. Next film with @rajeshmdirector sir and @StudioGreen2 @kegvraja sir. Can certainly say that we will put in our best effort to entertain you all.”

According to a TheNewsMinute report, Hip Hop Tamizha has been signed on to score music. It is also said that comedian Sathish will play a prominent role in the film, which is said to be a ‘family-entertainer’. Director Rajesh’s previous films include Siva Manasula Sakthi, the Arya-starrer Boss Engira Bhaskaan, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru.

On the work front, August is an important month for Nayanthara. After giving an impressive performance in Aramm, the actress is gearing up for the release of Imaikkaa Nodigal, directed by Ajay Ganamuthu, and  Kolamaavu Kokila directed by Nelson. In both the films, she plays the central character.
