Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has started working for his next big project Kayamkulam Kochunni, which is said to be a period drama. An excited Pauly, shared pictures of Mohanlal on the film sets. He makes a cameo in the film as Ithikkara Pakki.
In this movie, Nivin Pauly will be essaying the role of a thief from the early 19th century Kerala named Kayamkulam Kochunni. Mohanlal will be sharing screen space with the actor for the first time reprise the character of Ithikkara Pakki, who is also a thief, contemporary to Kochunni. Directed by Roshan Andrews, the screenplay for the movie is written by Bobby and Sanjay.
Pauly, who is riding high from the success of Hey Jude, also has Moothon, which has already created a buzz in the Malayalam film industry. Directed by Geethu Mohandas, the film shows Nivin Pauly in a whole new getup.

Anurag Kashyap, who is part of the production crew of Moothon, has also written the dialogues. The movie is set to be a bilingual production both in Malayalam and Hindi.
