The team of Mersal celebrated with a massive success party last night with the film’s cast and crew attending it. It was a well deserved success party but an ill-timed one. While the news of Chennai rains circulated everywhere, Mersal’s party pictures shared on social media seemed a little inappropriate.

Aruvi from December 1
Debutant director Arun Prabhu’s Aruvi is scheduled to release on December 1. Producer SR Parbhu had called it a raw film, which deals with the social anguish of a liberated woman, played by newcomer Aditi Balan. The film’s audio will release on November 10 and trailer on November 16.

Dileep wants CBI probe into abduction case
Out on bail, Dileep, who was arrested in July in his alleged involvement in the Malayalam actress abduction case, has written a letter to the Kerala government seeking CBI probe into the case. He reportedly called the charges against as conspiracy in the 12-page letter.

They accused him of sexual assault and alleged him of non-consensual touching and crude comments on staff. In a shocking statement, one production assistant has alleged that Spacey had put his hands down the pants without consent.
