According to Manorama Online, the police want to know if Kavya and her mother, Shyamala, knew about the conspiracy before.

Sunil Kumar aka Pulsar Suni, the main accused in the case, told the police that he had sent the memory card that contained the images of the victim to the Kochi office of Laksyah, a boutique owned by Kavya Madhavan. The police are still probing if Pulsar Suni dropped in at the office or not. The police had conducted searches at the boutique’s office in Kakkanad last month, without access to the store’s CCTV footage.

During his questioning, Pulsar Suni reportedly mentioned a ‘madam’, but the police are yet to be clarify who the ‘madam’ is.

As of Wednesday, actor Dileep, who was arrested on Monday, has had his bail plea rejected by the Angamaly Judicial Magistrate Court. He will be in police custody for two more days for further investigation.

On Tuesday evening, the police team that arrested actor Dileep, submitted a remand report which said that the actor had offered Rs 2 crore to Pulsar Suni to attack the actress and shoot a video of her.

According to the police report, the video footage had a clear image of the ring that the actress wore on her right hand finger. Dileep, allegedly, had asked Suni for proof that the video was not morphed, so the prime accused had ensured that the video had clear visuals of the actress’s face.

The remand report also added that Dileep held a grudge against the actress for breaking his marriage with ex-wife Manju Warrier.

The actress was abducted and sexually assaulted on 17 February 2017, in a moving car in Kochi. Dileep was arrested by the state police on July 10, and presented before the magistrate on July 11.

Dileep, who is currently the 11th accused in the case, had initially told the police that he had never met Pulsar Suni.
