Malayalam actor Sunny Wayne will play a fan of Kollywood superstar Vijay in his next film, titled Pokkiri Simon – Oru Kadutha Aaradhakan. The film, directed by Jijo Antony, will be bankrolled by Krishnan Sethukumar under the banner of Srivari Films.

The film was announced by the actor at Sreekumar theatre in Thiruvananthapuram, where Vijay’s 2007 blockbuster Pokkiri was re-released on Sunday.
Sunny Wayne, who is basking in the success of recent release, Ann Maria Kalippilaanu, is currently working in director Midhun Manuel Thomas’ Alamaara. The actor, who debuted through Dulquer-starrer Second Show in 2012, is best known for playing supporting roles in films like Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyaanu and Annayum Rasoolum.
Director Jijo Antony has movies like Konthayum Poonoolum and Darwinte Parinaamam to his credit.
