Mad Max: Fury Road, one of the contenders for the Best Picture award at the Oscars, has won nine awards at the 21st annual Critics’ Choice Awards. The movie won the Best Director (George Miller), Best Action Movie, Best Actress in an Action Movie (Charlize Theron), Best Actor in an Action Movie (Tom Hardy), Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Costume Design, Best Visual Effects, Best Hair and Make-up awards.
