Priya Prakash Varrier’s Telugu remake of Oru Adaar Love, titled Lover’s Day, will release this February 14. Directed by Omar Lulu, the film marks her Telugu debut. Its rights have been acquired by Sukhibhava Cinemas.
Producers of the film announced the release date on social media today. They also revealed the first look poster and movie logo. We see Priya Prakash Varrier in her signature pose from ‘Maanikya Malaraaya Poove’, the song with her wink which made her famous.

‘Maanikya Malaraaya Poove’ released in February last year, and became an instant hit across the country. Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor said he wished the actress belonged to his generation, BBC featured her in their story. Priya Varrier and her wink became news all over.
She was offered her Bollywood debut even before the release of her first film. Sreedevi Bungalow, directed by Prashanth Mambully, will see Varrier in the lead, playing the role of an actress called Sreedevi. “The movie is a suspense thriller that paints the life of a Bollywood actress named Sreedevi, played by Priya,” the director had said.

“The story is set in London. We have completed the first schedule, the second round of shoot begins on January 15,” he said. Shoot for the film’s teaser has been completed.
Priya Varrier is currently the most searched Indian celebrity on Google. She recently surpassed Sunny Leone and Priyanka Chopra’s records.
Talking about what made the video tick, she said in a LiveMint report, “Maybe there was a freshness to it. Nowadays everybody is on their phones… texting… even while talking to others they are on their phone. Their faces don’t express anything. Maybe when that (wink) came out, it was something innocent, fresh and striking.”
