Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh’s latest Telugu outing Loafer, which has opened to decent numbers at the box-office, may soon remade in Hindi. Puri has confirmed that he has plans to remake the film in Bollywood, and has already started negotiating with a few producers.
“I’m planning to remake Loafer in Hindi, and have also initiated talks with producers,” Puri had said last week at the success meet tour of the film. While he’s not sure when the film would go on the floors, he says that the story will strike a cord with the audience in Bollywood too.
The filmmaker is currently busy working on Telugu-Kannada bilingual Rogue, which features debutant Ishan and Pooja Jhaveri in the lead roles.
