Atharva is seen carrying a young girl, Divyadarshini on his shoulders in the first look poster. His not-so-serious face is found to bleed and his hand is bandaged. The cuts on his face have been aesthetically drawn by the designer, making it seem like paint marks.

Big Print Pictures took to Twitter to release the poster.

A report on Times of India read, “The film talks about two disparate men meeting by accident and the friendship they develop. The film will delve into the affection Atharvaa and child artiste Divyadarshini shares. Certain circumstances will put that girl in trouble and that’s when Atharvaa’s character comes into play.”

The action-thriller based in Madurai will see Priya Bhavani Shankar opposite the actor. Apart from the lead pair, Radhika Sarathkumar and Radha Ravi also play important roles. On the technical front, cinematography is by Dinesh Purushothaman, editing is by Anil Girish, art by Kumar Gangappan and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. While Vicky is choreographing stunt, the dance master’s name hasn’t been mentioned by the makers.

“I have always been a fan of Yuvan sir and Raaja (Ilaiyaraaja) sir’s music. To have Yuvan sir compose music for my second film is a great feeling. My film is set in Madurai and it’s a thriller. The background score is the soul of the movie, and Yuvan sir has set such high standards with his previous outings. I felt that with his work, he would bring in the effect that I needed. For me, there was no other option. I felt that Yuvan would be the only person who would understand the story and write the music accordingly,” said Sri Ganesh who added, “He was very quiet after I was done narrating the story. I had held my breath throughout his silence. He later told me that he decided to go for it fifteen minutes into the story. It was such a relief when he finally said yes.”

After much delay, the film will complete shoot by the end of the month and hit screens for summer.

Meanwhile, Atharvaa will also feature opposite Anupama Parameswaran in an untitled film by director Kannan and in debut director Barnesh’s Othaikku Othai opposite Sri Divya. While the former is still in production, the latter is in the post-production phase.
