The upcoming Malayalam-Tamil bilingual movie Keni has released its trailer. The film stars Jaya Prada, Parthiepan, Revathi and Nassar in lead roles.
The movie deals with the issue of water scarcity in the neighbouring states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The movie which is set on the borders of the two southern states captures the lives of people in the districts of Kollam in Kerala and Thenkasi in Tamil Nadu.

The film, written and directed by Naushad, has Archana, Parvathy Nambiar, Anu Hasan and Rekha, apart from Jaya Prada and Revathi.
A song ‘Ayya Sami’ was released earlier which showcases the traditional art forms of both the states. K.J Yesudas and S.P Balasubramaniam have collaborated after a long gap of 27 years. M. Jayachandran is the music composer.
The movie is being produced by Sajeev PK and Anne Sajeev under the banner of Fragrant Nature Film Creations.
