Reports about the project have been doing the rounds for a week now. The spokesperson for Keerthy Suresh told Silverscreen, “She is doing the film but it will take another week for the agreement to be signed. Official announcements can be made after that.”

Stone Bench has previously produced Karthik Subbaraj’s webseries Kallachirippu. They recently also signed a film with actor Aadhi, which will introduce another new director.

Keerthy Suresh is currently busy with two Telugu films. She will be travelling to Europe in June for the shoot for important portions of her film with director Narendra Nath. She has signed another film with Nagesh Kukunoor, the director of Hyderabad Blues and Iqbal. The pre-production work for Ponniyan Selvan, Mani Ratnam’s dream project, has also started. Keerthy Suresh’s spokesperson confirmed that she has signed up for this multi-starrer.

The actor was recently spotted in Mumbai, where work for her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn is on. Shoot for the film will begin in August. Directed by Amit Shah who made Badhai Ho, the movie is jointly produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta, and is said to be a biopic on the former Indian football team coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The film is likely to be complete by the end of the year.

The actress also has director Priyadarshan’s Marikkar: Arabikkadalinte Simham under production, and a confirmation on her role in Rajinikanth-AR Murugadoss’s Darbar is yet to come. The shooting for the film is currently progressing in Mumbai. Nayanthara plays a lead in the film, and Rajinikanth is said to have a dual role. If the speculations are true, Darbar will mark Keerthy Suresh’s second collaboration with AR Murugadoss after Sarkar.
