Decked up in a red and gold Benarasi saree, with heavy gold bangles, necklace and teeka, along with a big red bindi, Katrina Kaif looks the part of a perfect Bengali bride. The picture that has been doing the rounds is that of the actress in character for her role in Zero. Currently shooting in Mehboob Studios in Mumbai, the actress will reportedly romance Abhay Deol in the film, who has a cameo.
The actress even shared her look on Instagram.
Abhay, who has worked with Aanand L Rai in Raanjhaana and Happy Bhag Jayegi, agreed to do an extended cameo in the film, where he will be seen romancing Katrina Kaif. According to sources, Abhay will play Katrina’s boyfriend who dumps her and breaks her heart. Katrina will be playing an actress, although it is not confirmed if she plays herself in the film.

The film also stars Anushka Sharma and is said to be reportedly playing the role of a differently-abled woman. Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing the role of a dwarf, a feat which only Kamal Haasan and Anupam Kher have achieved so far.
The film is pegged to be a comedy film, written by Himanshu Sharma, a longtime associate of Rai. The film has music by JAM8, Badshah, Tanishk Bagchi, and Ajay Atul. Apart from the three lead, Tigmanshu Dhulia will be seen essaying a crucial role. Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla will reportedly be seen in special roles, playing themselves. Late actress Sridevi was supposed to have a cameo too but will now be replaced by her contemporary, Madhuri Dixit Nene.
Considering the film went into production in 2017, the film, bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions, is slated for a 21 December, 2018 release.
