Actor Kartik Aryan will be replacing Aditya Roy Kapur in the film produced by Wizcraft, the organisers of the IIFA.

A DNA report quotes a source as saying: “Yes, Kartik has been locked for the film. Vashu [co-producer] and Kartik met several times over the last one week. The modalities are being worked out now. The story is about three friends and how their lives change once they attend IIFA. All three characters have equal footage in the film. Vashu wanted Kartik because of his impeccable comic timing and the character offered to him is that of a fun guy.”
The yet-to-be titled movie, also starring Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh, is said to be a rom-com. Sonakshi plays Kartik’s love interest.
The film will go on floors on a 25-day shooting schedule in New York where the IIFA Awards is scheduled to happen.
