Actor Karthik, who is receiving rave reviews for his performance in Anegan, has signed his next film which is a sequel to the superhit 1992 film, Amaran. Director Rajeswar, who is wielding the megaphone, has confirmed to The Times of India that the shooting of this film will commence in May or June.
Currently, the team is looking for a suitable female lead and the rest of the cast and crew. The official announcement is expected shortly.
Amaran starred Karthik, Bhanupriya, Radha Ravi and Prathap Pothen in the lead roles while Shammi Kapoor, Vijaykumar and Manjula Kapoor were a part of the supporting cast.
