A source from the sets of the film was quoted saying that the cast and the crew have been given a 45-day schedule and therefore all precautions are being taken. The shoot came to a halt as the snakes were huge and people were thinking they would be poisonous. After ensuring the safety of the entire cast, the snakes were taken back to the jungles, adds the source.

Kalank is said to be Karan Johar’s most ambitious project, wherein he started working on it 15 years ago. An epic drama, the film stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead along with Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Khemu. Many look forward to watching former rumoured beaus Madhuri and Sanjay Dutt on screen after a gap of over 25 years.
