This interesting short film trailer starts with a voice-over of the comedian Senthil from the movie Boys, “Naa unaku tharathu soru illa thambi;  Information..information is wealth!” (I am not giving you food; I am giving you information; information is wealth!)

Then, it shows a guy from a small town, and his experience in the big city: high rents, doctors and their attitude to patients, and more. This short film is based on the issue of food adulteration and poisoning in a humourous way, but is also a larger commentary on safety warnings and videos on YouTube.

The trailer was officially launched by ‘Nam Tamilar’ party chief Seeman. Directed by Sugumar Ganesan, the protagonist Doubt Senthil plays an innocent man who is caught up in the web of these forwards and videos. He warns a smoker about health hazards and orders tea in ‘paper cup’, at which the smoking guys says it is much more harmful than cigarettes. In an other  shot, the clips of ‘Healer’ Bhasker says that major dental problems come from brushing the teeth, causing our protagonist to question the practice. Doubt Senthil plans to order parotta, when there is a video of Doctor Sivaraman talking about food adulteration.

Actor Doubt Senthil who is known for his TV sketch show, Daddy Enaku Oru Doubt, was last seen in the movie Brindhavan which started Arulnithi and Tanya in the lead roles.

The music for this short film is composed by Nawfal Raja and lyrics are written by the director himself. The song, ‘Kadaisi Echarkari’  was sung by Sathya Prakash, V.V Prasanna and Anthony Dhasan.

As video concepts and short films are catching up with social media trends, this short film seems to be a promising hilarious take on food poisoning issues. Produced by V Seenivasan, the official release date is yet to be revealed.
