K, of Yuddham Sei and Mugamoodi fame, has composed music for the upcoming film Mahabalipuram. His last release in Tamil was Onbadhula Guru and K composed the background music for the Hindi remake of Pizza. Talking about Mahabalipuram, K said, “Composing all the five songs in Mahabalipuram has been satisfying. It’s a potpourri of different types of songs.” Actor STR has lent his voice for a song on New Year celebrations.
Mahabalipuram, directed by debutant Don Sandy, features newcomers Vinayak, Vetri and Vithika. Actors Karunakaran, Karthik, Ramesh Thilak and Angana will also be seen. The film will release this month.
