Karthik Subbaraj’s last film Petta, which had Rajinikanth playing the protagonist, was a blockbuster. The untitled project with Dhanush will entirely be shot in the United Kingdom. The film is, reportedly, a gangster flick. Earlier, it was reported that Karthik Subbaraj had approached Hollywood star Al Pacino to play a major role in the film. Eventually, it was announced that Game of Thrones star James Cosmo would play that role. Malayalam star Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the female lead in the film, which will have music by Santhosh Narayanan and cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna. This is Aishwarya Lekshmi’s second Tamil film, after Sunder C’s film with Vishal, in which she plays one of the two female leads.
