Actor Jiiva, who has two upcoming films Thirunaal and Pokkiri Raja, has now signed a third film, Gemini Ganesan. Gemini Ganesan will be directed by debutant director Muthukumar. The technical team had sought permission from the Gemini Ganesaan family to use the family name in the title. Muthukumar and team are currently scouting for suitable locations, and finalising the female lead and supporting character artists.

Jiiva is currently shooting for director Ramprakash Rayappa’s Pokkiri Raja, and is expected to begin shooting for Gemini Ganesan after he completes the former. According to sources, Pokkiri Raja, which also stars Hansika and Sibiraj, will be wrapped up in 10 days.
Ko and Nanban were Jiiva’s last commercially successful films. The actor will reportedly have a cameo appearance in Prakash Kovelamudi’s Inji Iduppazhagi.
