Slated to be a commercial entertainer, Gypsy narrates the tale of travel and love. In the first poster, Jiva and his animal companions imitate each other in a comical way. The poster also features the film’s female lead Natasha looking amused.
Talking to Deccan Chronicle about the film, director Raju said: “It’s a travel story, as we all know nomads do not have a permanent place to stay and wander from one to another. This is one of the looks of Jiiva sir. He has grown long hair for his character of a modern gypsy. He has also learnt to play guitar for the film. This majestic white horse would travel along with him throughout.”
While Murugan is known to make films with a social message, this one will be a commercial entertainer with a social message. The shooting of the film went on floors in March and the team will be shooting at various places across the country.
Meanwhile, Jiiva has another interesting project in his kitty. He had recently signed a heist comedy titled Gorilla.
