Actress-turned-politician Jayasudha plans to quit politics and focus on her acting career. The actress says she had joined politics to serve people, not to get embroiled in controversies that have nothing to do with her. Jayasudha has expressed her hurt and disappointment after Congress leaders expressed their disapproval towards her for inviting Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to her son’s wedding. Although, according to sources, it was simply a courtesy call, her colleagues had made it into an issue. Now that her younger son, Shreyan Kapoor, has joined the industry, Jayasudha plans to spend time mentoring him.
