Jayam Ravi is wrapping up work on his upcoming Tik Tik Tik, directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan. The film is a space-based subject, and Jayam Ravi plays an astronaut. The team is shooting on Chennai’s ECR, where a space shuttle set has been erected.

A source from the film’s unit tells Silverscreen, “The film’s shoot is nearing completion, and this is a five-day schedule. Ravi plays Vasu, an astronaut. Arjun Nandhakumar, the female lead Nivetha Pethuraj and Ramesh Tilak also play astronauts. This will mostly be the first ‘space’ film in Indian cinema that has been made on a reasonable budget. A major portion of the film was canned in Ooty and Kodaikanal.”
Director Shakti Soundar Rajan loves to experiment, and his previous film Miruthan, starring Jayam Ravi, fell in the zombie genre and was well received. Tik Tik Tik is scheduled to hit the screens in September. Jayam Ravi will move on to Sanghamitra after this shoot.
