The movement #WhatIReallyReallyWant is a project focusing on women’s rights – “what they really, really want” – equal pay for equal work, equality, education, freedom and fundamental rights. While the song remains the same, the new video is reminiscent of the one-shot look of the original from 1996.

The video begins with Jacqueline Fernandez taking the viewers to a slum in India with its overpopulated, cramped spaces.  Small schools, bear the message “End Violence Against Girls” on a hanging bed sheet and “Quality Education For All Girls” on a classroom blackboard.

Directed by M J Delaney, the video features Nigeria’s Seyi Shah, South African rapper Gigi Lamane, 13-year-old Canadian dancer Taylar Hatala, and London R&B trio M.O, to name a few.

The video was launched by ‘Project Everyone’ headed by Richard Curtis of Mr. Bean fame, actress Freida Pinto, and actor Chiwetel Ejiofor. Last year, the project featured Hollywood actor Liam Neeson doing the voiceover in the video ‘We Have a Plan‘, promoting long-term goals for sustainable development.

Former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, approved the video by sharing it on social media and calling it a “wonderful idea to encourage and empower a whole new generation” in a statement to Time.com.
