The second schedule of director Anand Shankar’s Iru Mugan will begin today in Chennai. Speaking to Silverscreen.in, Anand Shankar said, “A majority of portions in the second schedule, which is expected to go on for 10 days, will be shot inside sets that were erected for the movie. The Malaysian schedule was a long one and we were able to complete around 25% of the film.” He added that the team would also shoot in North India.

The film’s cast and crew were in the news recently after actress Nayanthara was detained at the airport over a minor passport issue. The team subsequently filed a complaint with airport officials, and returned to Chennai two days ago.

Iru Mugan is an action thriller starring Vikram, Nayanthara and Nithya Menen. Produced by SKT Films, the film has cinematography by RD Rajasekar and editing by Bhuvan Srinivasan.
