GV Prakash And Siddharth’s Next Titled ‘Sivappu Manjal Pachai’

It is the trend of multi-starrer films in Tamil cinema currently. Actors Siddharth and GV Prakash recently joined hands for a film by director Sasi, who made the blockbuster hit Pichaikaran. The film has been titled Sivappu Manjal Pachai, and its title poster was unveiled yesterday.

The film is produced by Rajesh P Pillai under the banner Abhishek films. It is reportedly in the final stages of shooting and is expected to hit screens this summer. The film is pitched as a romantic comedy, and there are speculations that actor Siddharth will play a traffic cop, and GV Prakash, a street racer.

According to a report in DNA India, the film is centered on a brother-sister relationship. It stars popular Malayalam actress Lijomol, who makes her Tamil debut with this film. The actress plays GV Prakash’s sister and Siddharth’s love interest, while debutante Kashmira is paired opposite to GV Prakash.

The film also stars YouTube’s Nakkalites fame Dhanam, and Madhusudanan in important roles. The music for the film is composed by debutant Siddhu Kumar, editing is by San Lokesh of Ratsasan fame, and cinematography is by Prasanna S Kumar.

On the work front, GV Prakash has an upcoming film by Kamal Prakash, director of the famous short film Highway Kaadhali. The filmmakers have called it a fantasy horror. Its tagline reads, “A film for morattu singles.” The film will also star Raiza Wilson as the female lead. GV Prakash is also set to work with Thulladha Manamum Thullum fame director Ezhil. This film is produced by Abishek Films, the shooting commences in March.

GV Prakash is actively juggling music direction and acting projects. He is currently composing for director Vetrimaaran-Dhanush’s Asuran. As an actor, his films 100% Kadhal directed by Chandramouli, Ayngaran directed by Ravi Arasu, Adangathey directed by Shanmugam Muthuswamy are awaiting release in 2019. He is currently working on Vasantha Balan’s Jail, AL Vijay’s Watchman and other three untitled projects.
