A grand audio release function held for Puli earlier this month in Chennai. Now, the distributors of the Telugu dubbed version of the film have planned to hold a similar function to launch the Telugu audio of the film, in the first week of September. The members of the cast, including Vijay, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani, Sridevi, are expected to attend the event. Sudeep, who gave the Tamil audio launch a miss, is expected to attend the event in Hyderabad.

Music director Devi Sri Prasad’s album has recieved mixed reviews so far. The trailer of the film, which was released on August 20, promises an unusual, fantasy story. The film will be released on October 1, along with the Telugu dubbed version.
