The first look of Next Enti starring Tamannaah and Sudeep Kishan was released by Rana Daggubati on Twitter today. The film is a romantic drama directed by Bollywood director Kunal Kohli.
Known for his romantic movies like Fanaa and Teri Meri Kahani, Kunal Kohli, who makes his Telugu debut with Next Enti is rumoured to have based the story on his Bollywood movie Hum Tum. Starring Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee in lead roles, Hum Tum, which released in 2004 was a hit and won many awards including the National Award for Khan and Filmfare Awards for Kohli and Mukherjee. Hum Tum was produced by Yash Raj studios.
Next Enti has been produced by Sachin Joshi. Also an actor, Joshi played the lead role in the 2013 Sunny Leone starrer Jackpot. Music for the movie has been composed by Leon James.

Tamannaah, who was last seen in Naa… Nuvve also starred in Vikram’s Sketch which released earlier this year. She has also been cast in the Telugu remake of Kangana Ranaut’s 2014 movie Queen. Titled That is Mahalakshmi, the movie is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Malayalam.
Tamannaah’s future projects include Kanne Kalaimaane in which she is paired opposite Udayanidhi Stalin, F2 – Fun & Frustration – a Telugu movie in which she shares the screen with Venkatesh Daggubati and Varun Tej, and NTR: Kathanayakudu – the biopic on the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao in which Nandamuri Balakrishna plays the titular character. There are also Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy – a period film which stars Chiranjeevi, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapati Babu and Nayanthara and Devi 2 – A L Vijay’s sequel to his 2016 hit horror comedy Devi in which Tamannaah starred alongside Prabhudeva.
The actress will also be playing the lead role in Chakri Toleti’s Khamoshi – a remake of the director’s yet to be released Nayanthara starrer Kolayuthir Kaalam.
Meanwhile, Sundeep Kishan awaits the release of Karthick Naren’s mystery thriller Naragoosaran.
