FEFSI Strike Update: ‘Kaala’ Shooting Stalled For The Second Day; FEFSI Members Meet Rajinikanth

The Producers’ Council is yet to answer FEFSI President RK Selvamani’s call to negotiate terms. According to sources, the council is determined to continue filming movies without the support of FEFSI, and is not ready to negotiate the already fixed wages.

On the shooting front, the filming of Kaala has been stalled for the second day today, and the team, which had planned a 60-day schedule, is currently awaiting an end to the strike. Also, RK Selvamani is said to have met Rajinikanth this morning; Selvamani will reveal the details of his meeting with Rajinikanth in a press meet this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Vishal continues to shoot in Pichavaram for his film Thupparivalan, directed by Mysskin. Also, the shoot of Sasikumar’s upcoming film, Kodi Veeran, directed by Muthaiah, is currently happening in Madurai. Priyadarshan’s film crew, on the other hand, is also awaiting an end to the strike.
