Rhea was supposed to make her Tamil debut with this film, but she had to opt out due to date clashes. Director Sanjay said in a press note, “Her schedule was set to happen in June, but she had back to back projects and there were date clashes. We tried our best make it work, but mutually decided to part ways. I approached Digangana after seeing the trailer of her recent Telugu movie Hippi in which she had a strong screen presence. She was also impressed with the story of our film and agreed to be a part of it.”

He told Silverscreen, “Both Digangana and Reba have performance oriented roles and are central to the story. Digangana has already joined the shoot and the film is currently in the second schedule in Chennai.”

The comedy entertainer stars Harish as the employee of an automobile company who believes in astrology to decide the course of his life. “We wanted a catchy title and decided on Dhanush Raasi Neyargale because it’s something we hear astrologers say often on TV,” the director said.

Reports say that the film will be along the lines of Harish’s previous releases Pyaar Prema Kaadhal and Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum. Music is by Ghibran, cinematography by PK Varma and production is by Sree Gokulam Movies. The film is likely to release by the end of the year.
