Dhanush who is making his Hollywood debut with The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir shared a poster and a teaser of the film.

The film titled as The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir is based on the French novel L’ extraordinaire voyage du fakir qui était resté coincé dans une armoire Ikéa ( The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir who got trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe) written by Romain Puertolas.
This was Puertolas debut novel. The book which was published in 2004 has been translated into 35 languages. The plot follows a 38-year-old Ajatashatru Oghash Rathod from Mumbai who embarks on an extraordinary voyage across Europe.
Directed by the Canadian filmmaker Ken Scott, the movie will see actors from different film industries and cultures.
In the video, the director talks about his experience and the cultural bonding that happened between the cast and crew. The team has travelled around India, Italy, France, England and Libya for the production of the movie.
Berenice Bejo, the Oscar-nominated actress of The Artist, co-stars with Dhanush. Barkhad Abdi, Erin Moriarty and Abel Jafri are also part of the movie.
In an exclusive published by Variety, it was reported that the film ‘has lured a flurry of foreign distributors’ for its international release.
