Actor Dhanush has recorded a song for the film Nenjam Marapathillai, directed by Selvaraghavan. This is also the first collaboration between Selvaraghavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja since 2007, when the Telugu film Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule was released.
Just sang a very trippy and difficult song for #nenjammarappadhillai @selvaraghavan @thisisysr 3 of us together after a decade #whatfun pic.twitter.com/tDIkSk9Gzw

Aishwarya Dhanush was also present at the recording, and posted a video of Yuvan Shankar Raja playing the Ilaiyaraja song “Pootukal Potalum” from Chatriyan.
Nenjam Marapathillai, likely to be a romance-horror, marks Selvaraghavan’s directorial comeback after three years. His last film was Irandam Ulagam. Produced by Gautham Menon, Nenjam Marapathillai has SJ Surya, Regina Cassandra, and Nanditha Swetha in leading roles.
The film’s teaser was released in August, and the music album is expected to release in a few weeks.
