Tamil cinema has a new reason to be excited about. France-based Iranian author and graphic novelist – Marjane Satrapi – has reportedly cast Dhanush as the lead in her next film, which is about an Indian fakir’s extraordinary sojourn. A TOI report says that in the movie, the actor would share screen space with Hollywood actress Uma Thurman.
The film, according to Variety, is an adaptation of Romain Puertolas’s best-selling The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir Who Got Trapped In An Ikea Wardrobe.
