Telugu comedian Vijay Sai Found Dead
Actor Vijay Sai, best known for his comic roles in films like Nuvve Kavali, Bommarillu, was found dead at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad this morning. According to reports, the actor is suspected to have committed suicide, something that the police is yet to confirm.
According to The Indian Express, the actor has been living separately from his wife for the past two years and was also being treated for depression.

Tiger Zinda Hai Gets A Twitter Emoji
Twitter emojis happen to be the latest promotional tool for films featuring mega stars. From Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 to Vijay’s Mersal, the Twitter emojis lasted for a good time even after the film’s release. The latest happens to be Salman Khan’s upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai. This isn’t the first time for him, considering his last release – Tubelight – got a special emoji too.

Ali Abbas Zaffar’s sequel of Ek Tha Tiger (2012) – Tiger Zinda Hai – features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as the formidable spy couple in a mission to save 25 Indian nurses trapped in Iraq. The film is scheduled to release on December 22.
New Poster of Pad Man Out
Padman, directed by R Balki, starring Akshay Kumar is set to hit the screens on Republic Day, 2018. Akshay plays, Lakshmikant Chauhan in this film, which is based on the life of entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented low-cost sanitary pad-making machine. While Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte play the female leads, Amitabh Bachchan does a cameo appearance in this film, which also has Nivin Pauly in a key role.
The film’s new poster was released today, where Akshay in character appears to be talking about a sanitary pad that gives women ‘two months extra life’.

Aparna Sen On Padmavati: ‘What Is At Stake Is Creative Freedom’
Filmmaker and actress Aparna Sen delivered a lecture at the 22nd International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) on December 9. Sen spoke of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, a film that has become controversial even before its release.
“In the whole issue around Padmavati, the film itself is not important. What is important is what it stands for. What is at stake is creative freedom. We are not fighting for the film itself. I, as a proud Bengali who holds Tagore and Subhas Chandra Bose in high regard, can protest if someone says something untrue or objectionable about them. But I cannot create a law-and-order issue. If such an issue is created, it is incumbent upon the government to bring it under control. If the government cannot do that, it should admit its failure and step down,” she said.
