Choreographer Shobi Paulraj has been elected as the President of Cine and TV Dancers and Dance Directors’ Association. The election of Dancers Union was held yesterday in T Nagar, and actor Kamal Haasan also cast his vote. The elected team was announced when the counting was complete.
Mr Y Siva, Mr K Bhuvana Shankar, Mr R Suresh, Mr PV Noble, Mr Dinesh and Mr Raghuram B have been elected as Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Presidents and Joint Secretaries respectively. The newly elected candidates will take oath in the coming days.
Shobi Paulraj assisted dance director Prabhu Deva, and worked his way up to become one of the sought after choreographers in the industry.
