A film writer and actor, and member of the director’s union, has filed a complaint against Sundar C.

Maalai Malar reports that Velmurugan filed a complaint alleging that Sundar C had defrauded him and threatened him. In his complaint, Velmurugan says that he is the writer of a TV show called Nandini. Sundar C had allegedly bought the story from him, in return for a payment of Rs. 50 lakhs. However, Velmurugan alleges that Sundar C paid only Rs. 4 lakhs, and has refused to pay the balance of Rs. 46 lakhs. Further, he alleges that Sundar C has threatened his family and himself with goons. Velmurugan also says that Sundar C has similarly cheated other film writers and professional.
Velmurugan says in his complaint that he fears for his safety, and requests the police to take action.
Maalai Malar reports that the Joint Commissioner of Police, Anna Nagar, has been ordered to look into the complaint.
