Borrowing the title from the famous line ‘Thanipperum thunaiye…’ from the song ‘Kadhale Kadhale,’ the book is a compilation of articles analysing the movie, says a TNM report.

96, featuring Vijay Sethupati and Trisha, was directed by cinematographer turned director C Premkumar. It released in October and became a huge success. The Telugu remake rights for the movie was bought by producer Dil Raju. It has been reported that Trisha might reprise her role in the Telugu remake but there hasn’t been confirmation about the news from the actor or the makers.

“We are looking at popular actors in the industry for the role. It’s still in the initial stages,” said a spokesperson for the producer. He also rubbished rumours regarding Allu Arjun and Nani being part of the film.

The actress confirmed the reports saying, “When Preetham came to me with the offer, I was intrigued because Ganesh was on board and I already have a good rapport with him. I also know that the Preetham-Ganesh combination has a good track record.”

“I had to know what the film was about. Hence, I watched the original and I liked the story. It had universal appeal,” added the actress.

Meanwhile, Gouri Kishan who played Trisha’s childhood self in the movie is all set to make her debut in a full-fledged role. The actress will be featured opposite Sunny Wayne in the Malayalam movie Anugraheethan Antony.
