In actor Bobby Simha’s upcoming movie, Vallavanukku Vallavan, he will be seen in multiple get-ups, according to reports. Directed by Vijay Desingu, it has Sshivada of Nedunchalai fame, and actor Karunakaran in the lead roles.
Bobby Simha said that the movie was about two thieves to be played by him and Karunakaran. He also confirmed that he would be donning around ten roles in the movie. Calling it a different experience, he said, “This is the first time I am donning so many characters. For some characters, we needed three hours to complete the make-up”. He also added that the make-up artist Suresh, had done a remarkable job. Apparently, each character has a different mindset and to get into their shoes every time, was challenging.
Director Vijay Tesingu said that a lot of research had gone into these characters. He said that each theft sequence starring Bobby Simha and Karunakaran would last for 10-15 minutes. Veteran actor Napolean will be seen as part of the supporting cast. This movie marks the actor’s 100th film.
Bobby Simha announced that he would also be co-producing Vallavanukku Vallavan (VV) along with Sri Thenandal Films. The actor, disheartened by production companies repeatedly turning down the script of this film, decided to launch his own company. He calls it ‘Assault Productions’. Many speculated that it was named after his national-award winning character, ‘Assault Sethu’ from Jigarthanda. This movie marks the company’s maiden production.
Bobby Simha will also be seen alongside Jiiva and Kajal Aggarwal in Kavalai Vendam. Another movie in the pipeline for Bobby, is Paambhu Sattai where he will star opposite Keerthy Suresh. The teaser of Vallavanukku Vallavan will be unveiled on 2 August.
