Bobby Simha, who has acted with Vijay Sethupathi in a number of films including Iraivi, Soodhu Kavvum, and Pizza, has joined the cast of Sethupathi’s next film, directed by Panneerselvam. “We have signed on Bobby Simhaa to essay the role of a villain in my untitled film. The shooting will commence from January 15 and we will shoot across Theni, Cumbam and Madurai,” the director told Deccan Chronicle.
Vijay Sethupathi has been experimenting with his look in his recent films. Leaked pictures from the sets of Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s film depicted him dressed in a saree and with long hair. Panneerselvam has said that Sethupathi will have a different look in this film as well, “Yes, we are currently working on his look and we will probably release a picture of his new get-up by next week. Ritika Singh will be Sethupathi’s romantic interest in the film,”

The technical crew includes cinematographer Ramji, music director Imman, editor Anthony and stunt choreographer Rajasekar. The film will be produced by AM Rathnam.
Bobby Simha has two films releases in the pipeline – Paambu Sattai with Keerthy Suresh and Vallavanuku Vallavan, which will be his first production, under the banner Assault Productions.
Vijay Sethupathi’s film Kavan is ready for release. He is currently juggling between the sets of Kumararaja’s film and Vikram Vedha, where he plays one of the leads alongside Madhavan.
