The first look of Baahubali actress Anushka Shetty’s film Bhaagamathie was released a day before her birthday. In the poster, the actress sports a never-before seen look where she appears to be crucified on her left hand and holds a hammer on her right, leaning against a wall with a painting and lots of blood around. The whole poster paints a haunting picture, in addition to the actress looking absolutely disheveled.

The first look was posted by the production house – UV Creations.

The Telugu-Tamil-Malayalam thriller is directed by G Ashok and features Unni Mukundan, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Jayaram as part of the cast. Music is by S Thaman, and the film is slated for an early 2018 release.

Will Burn Theatres If Padmavati Shows Hindus In Negative Light, Says BJP MLA

Hyderabad BJP MLA Raja Singh has threatened to burn theatres if Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati shows Hindus in a negative light. Speaking at a Rajput community gathering on Sunday in Hyderabad, Singh vowed to teach a lesson to those who dare misrepresent the Hindus and the culture. “Across the country there are protests against the movie. But no one here is raising any objection to the film. Did our blood become cold?” he asked.

In a statement, Suresh Mishra, state president of Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha said that they will not tolerate “distortion” of historical facts at any cost.

The Sri Rajput Karni Sena, an organisation of Rajput community, has already opposed release of the film on December 1 on the same grounds.

Mishra said: “As per the feelings of the general public, screening of this movie should be stopped otherwise the Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha will oppose this movie. They (Bhansali’s team) are trying to defame Padmavati by distorting historical facts. No one can tolerate this.”

Milind Soman Unfazed By Trolls Who Question The Age Gap In His Relationship

Social media was abuzz on Monday, particularly related to actor, model, and runner Milind Soman. Soman, who turned 52 years old, was the target of many trolls who pointed out the age gap between him and his girlfriend, Ankita Konwar. While some reports suggest that his girlfriend is 18 years old, others state that she’s 24. Comments on photos with her ranged from him being dubbed a pedophile, and others alluding their relationship to that of a father and daughter, given the almost 30 year age gap between them.

However, unfazed by comments, the model took to Instagram to post more selfies of them together while holidaying in Norway.

“We’ve always had this compulsive need for heroes, the need to transform ordinary humans into superhumans, but Jeff Bauman never wanted to be a hero,” he said, after being introduced by Amy Adams. “I don’t know if I could’ve found the courage to do what Jeff did in real life, but I know something now that I didn’t know then: If we could find in ourselves the strength that Jeff found, we just might not need heroes,” he said.

Darkest Hour director Joe Wright won the Hollywood Director Award, and its star Gary Oldman won the Hollywood Career Achievement Award.
