The theatrical rights of director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, which is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Malayalam, have been acquired by Studio Green in collaboration with UV Creations for Rs 27 crores, according to Deccan Chronicle.
Reportedly, KE Gnanavelraja watched 45 minutes of the film and was convinced that it would get a rousing reception in Tamil Nadu as well. Post-production work for the film is happening at a rapid pace.
Baahubali stars Anushka, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Tamannah in the lead alongside Ramya Krishnan, Sudeep, Nasser and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. The audio launch date and the release date will be announced soon.
