Baahubali Enters Rs 500 Crore Club

Director SS Rajamouli’s mythological fantasy film Baahubali has crossed the Rs 500 crore mark and is still going strong after four weeks, since its release on July 10. The movie has been declared a blockbuster hit and it has become the first Indian film to collect Rs 100 crore at the box office in just two days.

According to latest figures, the Hindi version of the film, distributed by Karan Johan, has raked in over Rs 100 crore. With the collections, Baahubali becomes the first Indian dubbed film to enter the Rs 100 crore club in the domestic market. In 24 days, the movie has collected over Rs 502 crores with a net collection of Rs 370 crore.

Baahubali is still running successfully everywhere, with an occupancy rate of 70%. Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka and Tamannaah, this film has camera handled by KK Senthil Kumar. Music and BGM scored by MM Keeravani is one of the strongest pillars of Baahubali. CG Artist Srinivasa Mohan’s works are being highly appreciated as well.
