Arvind Swamy Turns Singer For Bogan

Arvind Swamy will make his singing debut with Bogan. The actor was roped in to sing for a track in the film as music composer D Imman felt that his voice was apt for it.

Bogan, which is tipped to be the official remake of Nicolas Cage-starrer Face-Off, has actors Jayam Ravi and Arvind in the lead roles. The film also stars Hansika Motwani and Akshara Gowda in important roles.

Arvind Swamy plays a cop in director Selvaa’s upcoming project. The actor, who made a comeback in Mani Ratnam’s Kadal, underwent a makeover of sorts for the role. Talking about the film, he said, “It is a no-nonsense role. I play an honest cop with no frills or fuss.”

Director Selvaa had earlier worked with Arvind Swamy in Pudhayal. “We are reuniting after seventeen years. I narrated the story to Arvind and he liked it very much,” he said.

Apart from singing, Arvind is working on filmmaker Bala’s yet-untitled Tamil project. He also hopes to direct a film soon.
