Director Sundar C has confirmed that Aranmanai will hit theatres on September 19. The supernatural thriller was completed in January, but the film required extensive computer graphics, which pushed the release to September. While speaking at a press meet, Sundar C seemed evidently impressed with Hansika who he said had accepted a challenging role in Aranmanai and called her his lucky mascot.
Aranmanai features an ensemble cast comprising Hansika, Andrea, Raai Laxmi and Vinay Rai. Sundar C’s regular team of actors Vichu, Mano Bala and Chitra Laxmanan will also be seen in the film. The popular duo, Santhanam and Swaminathan are in charge of comedy. Bharathwaj has composed the tracks, while Karthik Raja has done the re-recording. UK Senthil Kumar has wielded the camera, while Srikanth manages editing. Aranmanai is produced by Vision i Media.
