AR Murugadoss has vowed to make an example out of Minjur Gopi, who accused him of plagiarism. Speaking to The New Indian Express, the director said, “I’m very determined that I will not let him go. It is because of people like him that there is no safety for directors. Even if I have to go and file a case with the Supreme Court, I will not let him go. He must explain why he made those accusations about me and if he can’t, then he will be punished and put in jail, according to the law.”
The director has filed a defamation suit against Gopi and hoped that by doing so, he can put a stop to such unfortunate incidents.
