Director Mysskin is said to have planned a sequel to one of the best films in his career, Anjathey. Sources close to the director has confirmed the news, and added that Anjathey 2 will be produced by Hitesh Jhabak. Currently, Mysskin is working on the script, and will soon finalize the cast and crew of Anjathey 2. This film is expected to go on floors sometime in June.
Anjathey tells the story of two friends who become enemies when one of them gets into the police department. This film stars Prasanna, Narain, Ajmal Ameer and Vijayalakshmi in the lead roles. Anjathey, which won critical reviews, also turned out to be a profitable outcome for Mysskin and producer Hitesh Jhabak.
