Amitabh Bachchan Onboard Balakrishna’s 101st Film

Amitabh Bachchan will have a major role in actor Balakrishna’s 101st film, Rythu. The film’s director Krishna Vamsi narrated the script to Bachchan earlier this year. According to reports, Bachchan has allocated 17 days for his portion in the film. This is not Bachchan’s first Telugu film. He has had small roles in Amruthavarsham and the Nagarjuna – Naga Chaithanya starrer, Manam.

Rythu will go on the floors in February 2017. Talks are on with several leading actresses for the role of the female lead in the project.

Rythu’s male lead, Balakrishna recently met with Bachchan on the sets of his latest film, Sarkar 3. Reports indicate that the duo discussed their upcoming project. Balakrishna is also said to have thanked Bachchan for agreeing to be a part of the film.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna is busy shooting for his 100th film, Gautamaputra Satakarni, with National Award winner Krish . The film starring Hemamalini and Shriya Saran is a period drama.
