It’s been nearly a year-and-half since director Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s acclaimed film Manamantha hit the screens in 2016. And so far, he has taken it slow and has announced no new projects. The buzz is that the talented director might team up with actor Nithiin for a new-age drama.

Sources reveal that the duo have had discussions for a while now and it’s possible that they have zeroed in on a script. “It is a quirky story that would be high on drama and action. Nithiin is also game for something experimental at this stage in his career and he felt this particular story is just that with of course the regular trappings of a commercial flick,” says a source.
It is to be seen if this film works out. An official announcement will be made only after several other details, including the cast and crew, are finalized.
