Aditi Rao Hydari will team up with Mani Ratnam for another film. Mumbai Mirror reports that Mani Ratnam has cast the actress for a love story. She will take up the Madras Talkies production once she finishes shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati.
“I am dying to work with Mani sir again!”Aditi told Mumbai Mirror.
Mirror also reports that she’s moved to Chennai and that she considers Madras Talkies her home. “His sets are as beautiful as he is and there is a lot of last-minute improvisation. When I told him I didn’t know the language, he smiled and assured me that this was his problem not mine. He taught me the lines in Tamil too,” she said, about working with Mani Ratnam.
Reportedly, the script’s ready for this new production. Preparations are underway for the project.

On Kaatru Veliyidai, she said, “He will see a cliff and suddenly decide to film there. He’ll push you, nudge you, until you think you’re going to die, but eventually you know that he will be there to catch you.”
She says she worked hard on her role in Kaatru Veliyidai, and could speak her lines even in deep sleep, and in freezing cold weather.
“Many tell me that doing a Mani Ratnam film is a good career move. For me, it’s been a life-changing move, the fulfilment of a childhood dream.”
